GETTING TO KNOW AND APPLYING DIFFERENT BRANCHES OF ART

Art workshops, a project of the Blue Planet Book website, are starting this week. A summer vacation full of art awaits children living abroad. In our 5-week workshops, Children between the ages of 9-13 will be introduced to a different branch of art each week and then will do an application workshop. The workshops, which will be conducted by experts and competent people in their fields, will last for one hour. Before the workshop, the materials and content of that day's topic and lesson will be shared with the participants.

PURPOSE OF THE WORKSHOPS:

*To introduce primary and secondary school children to works of art created in different periods and different branches of art.

*Developing sensitivity in children towards different branches of art and works of art.

*Contributing to artistic literacy skills

*To provide an environment for the development of artistic and aesthetic tastes.

*To be introduced to and informed about artistic concepts through works of art, to experience that branch of art in workshops, and to provide the opportunity to reveal one's own personal tastes.

*To provide them with the opportunity to think, discuss and express their thoughts about works of art and art within the community.

* Providing an environment and space for children to connect with artworks by encouraging them to understand and read a work of art.

*Contributing to children’s literacy skills in the writing workshop titled “Your Story”

*P4C - To contribute to their creative and critical thinking in the Thinking with Artwork Workshop.

*Developing problem-solving skills by thinking and expressing opinions together with others

August 1, 2024 - Painting, Collage Workshop

August 8, 2024 - Calligraphy Workshop

August 15, 2024 - Writing Workshop

August 22, 2024 - P4C, Thinking with Art Workshop
