Books are powerful tools for children: they support language development, strengthen communication skills, and help build social connections. That’s why, for almost a year, I have been voluntarily leading the Mavi Gezegen Children’s Book Club, creating a natural environment for children to develop reading habits.

Every month, children from two different age groups come together for 60 minutes. They read the book of the month, reflect on the characters, and discuss concepts and ideas. In these sessions, children practice P4C (Philosophy for Children) techniques to strengthen their critical thinking skills, while also meeting peers in a safe and fun environment.

To participate, all you need to do is obtain the club’s books from mavigezegen.de.
