When we are certain of everything and have no doubts, the issue is this: We leave no space for others. We no longer listen to their opinions, just as if we slammed the door in their face, completely shutting off our minds. Politeness is not just about saying "thank you" or "please." There is also intellectual politeness: listening to others and presenting our own ideas to them.
