I would like to say hello to those who visit the site, I am Tuğba M. Alperen. I am a graduate of Marmara University Faculty of Communication. I am a journalist.
In order to accompany my children on their journey as they grew up, I left the corporate life and turned to the field of 'Children's Literature' and 'P4C Philosophy with Children and Adults'.

I have been living abroad with my two sons and my wife for seven years. During this period, I had a hard time finding quality Turkish books for my children who were growing up multilingual.

I founded the Mavi Gezegen book site in 2023 to help Turkish children growing up abroad access distinguished and qualified books in their mother tongue more easily.

Using the advantages that the journalism profession provides me, I carefully read and select books that are appropriate for children's age and developmental process in terms of language, style and content.
I am so glad that there are children's picture books that teach me that I have the chance to look at life through a child's eyes again!
